Happy Birthday, America!

The always glamorous Bill and Debs joined us for our 4th of July celebrations.

Not surprisingly, it was an epic few days.

We watched the kids compete in their first swim meet.  

Got all babed up for a tasty dinner.

 And last but certainly not least, beached.

 This looks like perfect.

It was all pretty idyllic.

Until they had to leave.  Then the children became depressed.  Which is always an ego trip for the mother.  Heaven forbid they should have only me to hang out with.

We had a most delicious BBQ, some friends over for dessert, then they all headed off for fireworks while Eden and I headed off for bed.  

Like I said.  All pretty idyllic.
