We managed to keep the Halloween celebrating limited to one week this year. One week is about the maximum amount of time Halloween should be celebrated I do believe.
We kicked off the season of spooking with the ward Fall Festival'Chili Cook-off/Trunk-or-Treat. Because why not shove 18 different activities into two hours?
Allen and I dressed up as the original hipster.
Waldo for the win.
The children in all their costumed glory:
We have Enderman from Minecraft, The Wickedest of Witches, The Superest of Girls and the Penguin from Happy Feet meets Batman. But leaning a little more on the Batman side of the spectrum.
One week later, we celebrated the main event.
We began by trick-or-treating our sweet little street. Only two houses of kids were otherwise occupied.
She's a full-fledged fan.
We concluded the night with pizza and cider and more door knocking at the Ellis'.
And Tessa doing a little pre-feast organizing. Which is good for my OCD-laden soul.
And that's a Halloween wrap.
