Our cousins came all the way from Texas to visit us for turkey. And they were surprised with a side of snow!!!
Snow angel Zoe and snow man Trent. 
Sam and Tiffany were crawling the city with Allen, so I got to be the one to see the sparkle in the kids' eyes as the snow began to fall, then stick, and then pile high enough for a snowman.
As I sat in the kitchen baking Thanksgiving pies and listening to giggles streaming in from outside, I felt so incredibly thankful.
This life is a good one.
