The Ides of March looked a lot like this:
Snow. On the first day of Spring.
But then. Then....
the most blessed sunshine I am most certain one has ever experienced.
We waited for the bus outside and even washed the salt off the cars.
Also, Allen home in the middle of week day could only mean one thing:
GARDEN LEAVE!!!!
He officially resigned from Barclays and took a position at BlackRock. Which means we get him home all to ourselves for 90 days.
Bless that banking industry.
Ryder performed in his 5th Grade school play.
He was a wise mouse.
So, he played himself.
Eden got X-rays for her sad gray tooth.
The root looks good, so the tooth will remain sad and gray and in her face.
Happy 3.14.15.
We celebrated pi day, with a pizza pie.
St. Patrick's day we sent the kids off to school with green hair. And we didn't even care.
There's been a lot of this going on since the onset of Allen's extended vacation.
Soooo, how do I get me some garden leave?!?!
Our ward did a "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner."
We were one of the host homes.
In setting a table for 10, I discovered I only own 9 grown-up sized forks. And 162 knives. Something's not right.
Because sometimes I am desperate to entertain this child.
Linley was a cheerleader at the faculty basketball game. She totally rocked it.
Maybe it's time to change my attitude about that nearly sport.
Still desperate to entertain this child.
More snowboarding on the books...
Ryder was chosen to display his art piece at the county art show. He's so multi-talented.
Dad's genes.
Pink baths are more fun.
And that's that.
