Spring Break: Indianapolis

This year we decided to go crazy for Spring Break and drive all around the world.
Basically.

It started like this:
Drive 5.5 hours to Pittsburgh.
Stay the night.

Drive 5.5 hours to Indianapolis.
Stay three nights.

On our way to the Grandparents' Chamberlain.
I haven't been back since I was a teen, but clearly, I am still highly revered.
Saturday Allen took the men to St. Elmos Steakhouse.
I took the women and children to Golden Corral (at the behest of grandma.  Though this should not need to be stated).
One of us is not living right.
 This photo had to happen.
These two spent the entire day discussing the art of word searches and Minecraft.  It was a heart warmer, indeed.
There really is just something about snuggling in a hotel bed.
After church Sunday, we snuck a peak at the under construction Indianapolis temple.
It was fiercely windy and obnoxiously cold.
But beautiful.
 These two!
Monday we woke up bright and early to enjoy Grandpa's famous sourdough pancakes (and mighty enjoyable they were), then dragged Bill with us to the Children's Museum.
The real Hook costume.
And I Dream of Jeannie.
The girls had just watched both the new and old Annie, so these costumes were highly exciting.
Thanks for taking one for the team Husband.
It was a pretty legitimate museum.  Including this ancient carousel.
 And the obligatory family photos.
 Four generations of sexy.
Four muddled and murky generations of something.
Of note:
*Linley believes the Chamberlain household to be the most beautiful home she has ever experienced. Year-round holiday-themed Christmas tree, 45 year-old soaps, 8 trillion beanie babies and all.
*Humping doesn't begin until 80.  You really had to be there to understand.  Be grateful you weren't there.
*The trip was surprisingly enjoyable and the children weren't even completely demonic.  Thanks Bill and Deb for enduring with us!!!!
