Lust, Love and Lingerie

With Love Day coming upon us, a couple girlfriends and I decided it would be fun to throw a little lingerie party.

And fun it was.  I mean, how often do you get to decorate cookies meant only to be eaten by moms??

And spend an evening savoring sinful delights while giggling like school girls?

And reflecting on how much we love loving our boy wonders?

And just like that, a tradition is born.  Thanks girls for coming and sharing in our fun evening!!!  Can't wait to do it again!

 

Snow Day!!

Last Saturday was our first snow encounter since October. 

The children were elated (for twenty minutes until they remembered snow was freezing cold miserableness).

The snow was completely gone two days later.

The parents were elated.

Best.  Winter.  Ever.

Did you notice how massive my pictures have  become?  I meant to make them bigger.  I didn't know they would become ginormous.  But, since I barely know how I changed anything, ginormous it stays.  

Isn't my newly redecorated room (and the little monkey in it) cute???

Additionally, a quick shot of the Bunco Babes. We've been playing since school started. It is a monthly highlight. I dig these girls. 

 Not pictured. Snow. Because there has been none since October. That snow blower we bought last winter= Best. Investment. Ever. (assuming snow doesn't eventually come and last through June)

Happy New Year!!!!

2011 was a weird year.  Not bad.  Just weird.  An earthquake, hurricane and freak snow storm in a three month period tends to make for a funky year.

 The Bill and Deb came to ring in the new year with us.  We sent 2011 out with a bang.  

It may have been a quiet, premature, sleepy bang, but it was a bang no less.

 We filled our bellies at our favorite Greek restaurant, spent some quality shopping time, bowled some brains out, watched the Cougars pull off a lucky victory, viewed a ridiculously awful movie and partied.  Hard.

Here's to a rip-roaring good 2012!!!!
