Tessa's Blessing: Baby Pictures

Tessa's Blessing: Family Photos

In addition to celebrating Linley's birthday on Sunday, we blessed sweet Tessa Jane. Talk about one fabulous Sabbath. Allen gave her a phenomenal blessing, and she was a perfect angel throughout. Then it came time for pictures, which apparently no one was happy about.

Linley Turns 3!!!

Sunday we celebrated the Little Princess' 3rd Birthday- complete with both sets of grandparents and Uncle Alex. Shame on me for not getting a picture of the group. Whoopsy. We spent the afternoon sweating at Watchung Reservation, where Linley swung on the swings until she wore both grandpas out.
Then we came home, made pizzas, and let the party festivities begin!!
She was one spoiled little girl, receiving a complete new wardrobe perfect for a dramatic three year old princess.
Then it was time to blow out the candles. Have you ever seen a more disturbing "blowing out the candles" face???
Happy as can be with her very own tier of cake. Which, by the way, she begged for more.
Happy Birthday Linley!! You are such a bundle of brightness, happiness and joy. We love you!!

On This Day Three Years Ago...

This sweet little princess was put in my arms.

1st Birthday
2nd Birthday
Today.
We aren't telling you it's your birthday today though. Sorry. Both sets of grandparents will be here Sunday and we will party hard then. Don't judge me.

Picnic at the Park

In an effort to exercise (because doing so at night is proving to be completely futile but we won't get into that), I decided to stick Ryder on his scooter, Linley in the stroller and Tessa in the sling and walk to the park today. Hopefully sweating profusely while slowly walking on a slight incline for 10 minutes each way counts as exercise. What can I say...it is humid today and I had a human heater attached to me.
I really enjoy the park. The kids eat there, which eliminates one meal's mess in my house, they expend energy, and we all get to soak in a little Vitamin D...and based on the glaring color of our skin, it is apparent we could all use some serious soaking.

And I had to take pictures to prove that the two mobile and verbal monkeys are miraculously still alive.

Not Already!!

The little princess turned one month old yesterday. This is most depressing. I want her to stay my teeny tiny cuddle bug. She hit the ten pound mark. Two pounds less than her monster sister was at this point, so maybe there is hope she will stay small and cuddly a while longer.
Regardless, she is impossible to resist (I means seriously, look at those sweet lips and cherubic little cheeks), wakes up only once a night between 2 and 3 (we are considering 6-7 am morning since the other two monkeys are awake at this point), has the most adorable purr, and basically is completely perfect.
Except she is not too keen on me taking pictures of her with her eyes open. We're working on that.

More of the Munchkin

Because I simply can't help myself. And grandparents are far away. And I don't need any excuses to capture every second of this teeny tiny life.
