God Lives

Today was truly a remarkable and majestic day.

We went to church, came home and hurriedly ate lunch, then headed to the beach.
To fly kites.
Because it was 70 degrees.
In February.
It was almost as if God peered into our searching souls, saw our longing, and provided.
In the most grand, glorious and unexpected way.
Today was the purest form of love.
God lives.  God loves.
Amen.

January iPhone Dump

January's most randoms:

Sunday best with my best boy.
 Twinning and winning.
January showed off her best self with a 64 degree day.
We were most appreciative.
 Never enough tub pictures.
I got to go fieldtripping with this child.  She loves me most.
Dear January,
You were not nearly as bad as I anticipated.
I apologize for doubting you.
Keep up the good work.

MLK Day!!

Allen had to dash off for work meetings in California.
Wisely, he made a long weekend of it, stealing away to visit the Bronco he is restoring and sneaking in some fun with the family.

The apple of Allen (and his daddy's) eye.
I am so happy Allen gets to pour his heart into this automobile that already has so much Don built into it.
 World's Cutest Uncle:
***
While The Mister was away soaking up sunshine, the rest of us ran for the hills/mountains and snow.
The two little ladies and myself spent the day tubing.
It was a most excellent little adventure.
She couldn't stand without falling, so she sat the whole ride up the mountain.
Swoon.
Ryder and Linley were too cool for tubing, so they stuck to their snowboards.
 My load of lovies.
And we will call that a weekend well spent.

Starting with Snow

January was a dollface and started the year off with a fresh fluffy blanket of snow.
The first snow is nothing short of magic.
I'm choosing to take this as a good sign: 2017 is going to be epic!
{fingers crossed}

December iPhone Dump

And now to add the exclamation point to 2016, December's leftovers:
Ditched school for a sushi lunch.
Took Ryder to watch his buddy perform in The Christmas Carol
Said "See Ya" to this beauty:
...and Hello to this Lady.
Tracy outfitted us in the most perfect matching BYU gear.
The boys cheered at a NJ Devils hockey game.
Allen and the kids spent every free Saturday at the slopes.
December is always a gigantic highlight reel full of good times and good eating and great memories.
And then comes January...

NYE 2016

As tradition insists, we spent our New Years Eve at the bowling alley.
Allen scored his best game ever.
She bowled herself into oblivion.
We then proceeded to eat our way into the New Year, feasting on the most fabulous fondue{s}.
2016 was a good healing hopeful year.
Here's to 2017!!
And surviving Donald Trump.
