Every year we toy with the idea of taking the kids to Radio City to watch The Rockettes Christmas Spectacular. And every year we decide to wait.
Until now.
We decided this was the year.
And what a wonderful decision it was.
Every performance was a highlight. Each better than the last. But the finale, the live nativity: that was pure Christmas Jesus Love magic.
I would pay all the dollars every year just to relive this moment.
We asked the kids if next year they would rather go see Santa or watch the Rockettes again. Every answer, with zero hesitation, was ROCKETTES. The show was spectacular and moving and riveting and you cannot leave the theater feeling anything but smacked straight in the face with sparkling Christmas Spirit. It was just so good.
We followed with the gorgeous and whimsical that is Saks Christmas windows.
And ended with a stop at Rockefeller.
Days do not get any better.
