Fall Photos

Allen had to spend the morning at the Arboretum helping out one of the young men with his Eagle Scout project, so the kids and I decided to join him.
The leaves are just changing and the temperatures are still more cool than crisp, so it seemed the perfect opportunity to capture a few autumnal moments.
Most of these moments were filled with grunting, but I did muster a few smiles.
I would say it is rather obvious which child was the grunting culprit.
Spring, Summer and Fall are all such fully enjoyable seasons.
Why must winter come and ruin everything?

Inappropriate...

...Yet entertaining.
Just a teensy sample of my day.
And this is nothing compared to her car performances.
She rocks out every single waking second of her day.
Literally.

Words to Live By

You Can Pick Your Pumpkins, You Can Pick Your Friends, You Can Pick Your Nose, but You Can't Pick Your Friends' Nose...or Pumpkin
Yesterday was an unbelievably beautiful 80 degree day. We took advantage with our annual trip to Wightman's Farm, settling in for some good old fashioned Fall fun. And donuts. And cider. And pie. Lots and lots of pie.
Heaven's Best.
I have strong desires to be a farmer. Or at least a (an???) herb gardener.
The gorgeous gourds.
BOO!!
Costumes are purchased, pumpkins are picked, and bellies are begging for candy.
We are ready for this spooktacular holiday (even if I am not it's biggest fan).

Destination of Dreams: The Fishies

Whilst snorkeling, we encountered some amazing fish. Bright colored, electric colored, rainbow colored, huge, small.
I have no pictures of any of those.
85 percent of the pictures on my underwater disposable camera were simply that: disposable.
Depression.
We did swim with sting rays and sharks.
That was rad.

That puppy was as heavy and as slimy as it looked.
One of our best vacations yet.
But now it is back to solving the world's problems, loads of laundry and lack of milk.

Destination of Dreams: The Voyage into the Deep Blue Sea

Another awesome day we boarded a catamaran to go swim with the fishies.

Our snorkeling destination.
My own personal heaven.
Allen's personal heaven (minus a Mastercraft).

Destination of Dreams: The Jungle

On one of my favorite days, we loaded up into a "bus," (really, it was a human cage) and drove an hour and a half into the heart of the jungle.

Here we would zip line. 12 lines total. One being the longest in all of the Caribbean. One taking us 45 mph. Two taking us over the "Dominican Mississippi." All providing mesmerizing sights.
Looking sick and sexified.
Rocked. My. Socks.
