April iPhone Dump

Finishing up the awesome that was April:

Semi-Annual General Conference coffee cake + cutest little bunnies
Ryder and Linley got to tag along with Allen for Take Your Kid to Work Day.
 Their future is bright.
Ryder, Linley and I drove 90 minutes to upstate New York for a BYU Football Player Fireside.
It was worth it.  All of it.

With Corbin Kaufusi.
Who stood tall at the pulpit and told the kids to go on our mission.
Couldn't ask for a better role model.
Coach Sitake remembered us from Provo. So, our stalking game is strong.
Also strong, the Spirit he brought into the building.
God gifted me that night the opportunity to feel exactly what my children were feeling.
I can't explain what it was, I just know it was good.
So very, very good.
With the love of Linley's life: Tanner Mangum
And Ty Detmer; who is simply a walking Texas-sized testimony of truth.
This evening left a mark.
The kind that makes everything feel fuzzy.
The kind that causes an exploration and an expansion.
The kind that is good.
And glorious.
And Godly.
All the applause for April!!

I'm still confused how this happened.
But so incredibly proud of the man he is far too fast becoming.
Also, I'm scared to death.

He celebrated with some buddies at Benihana.
Followed by cake and a movie.
An eight-layer ice cream sandwich cake to be exact
Happiest birthday Ryder Kimball!  You are the greatest start a mom could ask for.

Y Mountain

Because we needed just one more day in Provo.
We hiked the Y with Amanda and Riggins.
 Our first borns.
 Sisters in Zion.
Peace out Provo.
You never disappoint.

Spring Break: Happy Easter + Salt Lake City

Easter morning was happily spent seeking eggs with cousins and Grandma.
Mid-morning was spent with one of our most favorite couples on planet earth, Sarah and Damien Weiss.  We met at Monaco Court our last year at BYU, and have done our best to see each other every chance we get (we don't get enough chances).
Afternoon was spent feasting.  We all met back up at The Grand America Hotel for a most delightful and delicious Easter Brunch.
Easter evening was spent exploring Temple Square, with Amanda!!
Jesus looking down on my babies.
 I believe He is real.
I hope His arms hold them tight.
I believe they feel Him.
I hope they stay close.
Forever.
And, amen.
