July iPhone Dump

And now, July's leftovers:

Sisters.  Someday, they will thank me.
 Eden being cute.  And grown.
Proof of summer spent right: sound asleep by 6:15pm.
Swim team happened for the big three.  Tessa was on the practice team and Ryder and Linley were selected to be on the A-team.
Good luck locating them.
And dang, did Ryder and Linley impress.  They each medaled at least once in every. single. meet.
Linley earned third in Divisionals for breast stroke, while Ryder earned 4th in breast and 5th in free.
Love my little fishies.
 Little Bill.
Fresh from the dentist with zero cavities (and one root canal scheduled for Ryder.  It was not nearly as traumatic as I assumed.  So, bless all of that.).
 Precious people.
I got dressed.  And my children accused me of going out in my jammies.
Why did I give them life?
True to form: July flew by way too fast.
Someday I will determine how to slow that dreamy month.

Nine and Feeling Fine

July 21st this personality-packed princess turned 9.
She is such a pleasure of a person.
For her gift, she GOT HER OWN ROOM.  She picked out the rug.  The rest was a surprise.
That's the type of present I can really get behind.
To extend the celebrating, she and I (and two of our fabulous friends) headed to the city for cupcake crawl.  It was scorchingly hot, but sinfully sweet.
Sort of like me. I mean, Linley.
Happy birthday Linley Brooke!!
You are such a complete joy.

Back to {lake} Life

Summer really only means one thing to this family: water.
Presenting: our every Saturday.
Like riding a bicycle.
A great start to an unbelievable season.

State Fair Fun

We decided to spend our Fourth of July weekend surrounded by strange people and sugar.

And so, the New Jersey State Fair.
Deep fried Oreos and Twinkies: God bless America.

June iPhone Dump

Capping off June:
Linley's final project of third grade.
And while I firmly believe post Memorial Day projects should not exist, she does make a legitimately moody Monet.
The kids' had their Spring piano recital.  And rocked it.  Hard.
Their talent will never cease to amaze.
We celebrated our main man on Father's Day.  I hope those monsters grow up to be just like him...with better taste in music.
Probably every post should end with bathtub full of happy.
And now, summer!!!!

Untitled.

While Allen and the big kids were away, the little ladies and I decided to kill some time in front of the camera.
 As all lonely ladies should.

Spending five days as just the three of us was such a special and unexpected delight.

 BUT THE BOARD GAMES.
I physically could not go down another chute or climb another ladder or sorry someone back to home.
Candyland aside, I really enjoyed those little humans.
