Tessa Turns 8!!

...and she is so very, very great.

All this sweet little lovely wanted was a backyard BBQ filled with her friends and all things watermelon.

 And there is no denying that precious little toothless grin.

 Tessa Jane has the warmest heart and the hottest temper.  She is kind and she is fierce.  She loves hard and yells loud.  

She is completely unstoppable and utterly adorable.

It is no wonder you are so adored, sweetest Tessa Jane.

Last Day of School + Linley Graduates!!

Our sweet little Linley Brooke is officially an elementary school graduate.

 That's not frightening at all.

That's a lie.
It's terrifying.

 But we are so very ready for you summer.

 We've waited all year for this.

May iPhone Dump

May was peaceful and quiet and the perfect prep for the crazy that is June:

First, I have to sneak in this adorableness from April at Alex's wedding reception, because these two are all the heart eyes.

 Allen's Aunt Marti, Uncle Ken and Niece Gabi came to visit from California.  They were such a shiny, warm, happy addition to our home!

 These three rocked their Spring piano recital!

 Mother's Day gave me all the warm sun fuzzies.

 And, the happiest tummy.

Nice work team.

 My children spent an entire afternoon outside giggling happily together, so, that oddity must be documented.

 We finished our home gym!!  Results still pending.

 Trouble.

 Eden's Pre-K class raised butterflies and then set them free.

 We got big grown-up trees {then promptly killed them}

 We spent Memorial Day in Manhattan at the temple: Ryder participated in baptisms, Allen and I got in a session, and the girls played with friends.  It was a magic Monday.

 Peony season arrived in our front yard with all her splendor.
