Disney Day 3: More Magic Kingdom

Because one day was not nearly enough magic.

And because the parade was cancelled the first day.
It was worth the wait.

Eden!!
Truth: Disney can do no wrong.
And we have the exhausted happy smiles to prove it.
We finished the day with dinner at Chef Mickey's.
True to form, completely delightful in every way.
My heart could hardly handle the happiness.
This is joy.

Disney Day 2: Magic Kingdom

We entered the park at opening and left at closing.
The weather was sublime; unseasonably cool with little bursts of rain.
The crowds were nearly non-existent.
We were refreshed and ready and anxious to see and smell and taste it all (and the meal plan ensured we did just that).
Dinner at the Crystal Palace quelled the rumbly in our tumbly while charming our socks off.

 Weak.
 But adorable.
 So many princesses to admire.
Most handsome knight in all the land.
Tessa as Beast.
Eden was a horsey.
 Linley was Mrs. Teapot.
So many rides to scare (turns out Tessa and Eden are both terrified of roller coasters...but they respond well to Dole Whip bribery, so all is well in the wonderful world of Disney).
 And then the fireworks.
They cannot be outdone.
The happily ever after ending our fairytale day.

Disney Day 1: Getting Settled

After months of planning and exercising extreme patience, we finally arrived at Disney!!
And it was pure magic.
We stayed at Kidani Village in the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
In the most picturesque of settings.
At any moment outside our window, we could locate giraffe, boars, cattle, wildebeest, ostrich and zebra.
It never lost it's excitement.  Ever.
We spent the day getting settled, playing at the pools, then finished the night with an authentic African buffet.
The perfect start to an enchanting week.
