Allen is a stud. People like him. He is sort of a rock star at work. Not surprising then that he has head hunters phoning him regularly. Really regularly. Usually the jobs they are offering are not a good fit, or the money is not enough. Until now. When Mr. Perfect Headhunter came a knocking with an offer that was rocking. We took it.
Citigroup has a garden leave. Which basically means, when you resign, you have 15 minutes to pack up your belongings before you are escorted out of the building and forced to take 5 weeks of paid vacation, in hopes that you will forget everything. Further translation: 5 weeks of summer bliss. Allen resigned last Wednesday. We are living the summer dreams are made of until August 9th when Allen will begin his tenure as an employee at Barclay's Capital.
Life is good here in the Zimmerman household. Real good.
