1. No longer can fault be placed on the Repubs for the state of the Union
2. All States where bans against gay marriage were on the ballot passed
3. Ability to fillibuster is still in play
4. McCain losing early so I could go to bed at a decent hour last night
5. No more bloody phone calls, television ads or mailers telling me the awfulness of people in politics
Good thing it's the thankful season.

Hey Erica,
I had to check in this morning and see your thoughts on all of the happenings from last night.
I was expecting more of a venting email, but grattitude is good... I guess. (:
I feel the same way----the Dems are in control in every major aspect of government so hopefully they'll have the cajones to step up and admit fault rather than blame all problems on the previous administration.
I too, expected much more of a venting post. Way to be the bigger person and be super nice about it.
you disappointed me with all of your thankful crap erica. c'mon bring it!! :)
my favorite was number 4. i felt the same way!
I am so sick of the political commercials, phone calls and billboards too!!! Glad it's done. However, have you seen the terrible backlash against the church? We're single-handedly being blamed for both things passing as though we had that much control, as though we make up even a tiny portion of CA's voting population.
